Calling all IHG One Rewards members: There are even more opportunities to use your IHG points to book stays at all-inclusive resorts and hotels.
IHG announced its partnership with Spanish hotel brand Iberostar in 2022, but the ability to redeem IHG points at Iberostar properties didn't become available until last month.
Now, travelers can earn and redeem IHG points at more than 40 beachfront resorts and all-inclusive hotels around the world, from Spain to Mexico to the Dominican Republic. Critically, that means travelers who hold one of the co-branded IHG credit cards like the *ihg rewards club premier* and *ihg one rewards traveler* can get a fourth night free when redeeming IHG points for stays at an Iberostar property. You can find a complete list of participating Iberostar properties on IHG's website.

Redeeming IHG Points for Iberostar Stays
To book an Iberostar property with IHG points, you'll first need to visit ihg.com. You can search for a specific Iberostar property or simply input your desired destinations and dates, then filter for Iberostar resorts by clicking “Brands” and selecting Iberostar from the list.
Once you've honed in on the property you want, now's the time to choose your room. Click “Points” to see how much your room will cost for the dates you've selected.
IHG gives you a sliding scale of how many points are required to book the room in addition to the cash amount required. If you want a completely free reward night, you're going to choose the top option for 23,000 IHG One points to book a night at the Iberostar Royal Andalus. You'll need an IHG One Rewards account to be able to book and of course, points to redeem. If you're short on points, you could top off the booking with cash.
For now, you'll have to search manually to find Iberostar properties and dates you can book with IHG points. At the time of publication, neither the award calendar on IHG's website nor the Bilt Rewards hotel award search tool were showing Iberostar properties.
IHG's rewards program uses dynamic pricing, which means how many points you need to book a stay will vary depending on when you're looking. Without the ability to pull up a calendar view, it can be hard to predict how much a given night will cost.
For example, choosing a random date for the Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites​ yields inconsistent award pricing. Different date ranges could be a matter of paying almost 20,000 more IHG points for the same room than another date range.
IHG One Rewards Benefits
IHG's partnership with Iberostar also opens the door for travelers with IHG elite status to enjoy loyalty benefits when they stay at an Iberostar beachfront property.
Notably, Platinum and Diamond Elite members get space-available upgrades and a welcome amenity at check-in, in addition to a host of other perks.
Even if you are not holding top status with IHG, you still get valuable perks like late 2 p.m. check-out, free internet, and bonus points on stays booked directly through IHG.
