We're currently seeing several great Amex Offers for Hertz, Avis, and even Turo – the Airbnb of rental cars – helping you save up to $90 on your next rental.
If you haven't used Amex Offers before, think of them as digital coupons exclusively for Amex cardholders for purchases like airfare or hotels as well as dining, entertainment, or everyday shopping. Add one of these to your Amex card, use that card to book an eligible rental car reservation, and Amex will give you money right back for the discount within a few days as a statement credit on your account.
Keep in mind, Amex offers are targeted – not every traveler will see them in their Amex card accounts. But it's worth checking *amex platinum*, the *amex gold*, and even co-branded Amex cards from Delta or Hilton to see if you've got them. Simply log into your American Express account and check to see if they're listed among your available offers.

It's also worth noting that you don't need to hit the spending requirement for these offers in one fell swoop. You can hit it over multiple purchases to earn the statement credit so long as you meet the spending requirement before the expiration date.

Current Rental Car Amex Offers
Hertz
Hertz and American Express have teamed up for an Amex offer that will save cardholders $90 when spending $350 or more with the car rental agency.
With this offer, you'll get a one-time $90 statement credit after you spend a minimum of $350 directly with Hertz. That means you can't book a rental car through an online travel agency (OTA) like Kayak or Expedia and put this offer to use. You'll also want to ensure that you meet the minimum spending requirement before the offer expires on March 31, 2024.
Best of all, if you've got this offer on *amex platinum* you'll also get access to Amex's corporate discount code to save even more on your rental. And you can use the automatic Hertz President's Circle elite status that card unlocks for extra benefits like a guaranteed vehicle upgrade, bonus point earning, and a way to skip the long check-in lines.

Avis Car Rental
Avis and Amex are currently offering some cardholders a way to get $75 back when spending $350 on an Avis car rental.
Just like the offer with Hertz, you'll need to book your rental direct with Avis, either in-store or online at avis.com in order for this offer to trigger correctly. It expires March 26.

Turo
Spend $150 or more on Turo rentals and you'll get $30 back. This offer popped up again recently and it's still around if you want to take advantage for a trip this winter or spring.
This promotion is valid for all rentals made through at all Turo.com or through their mobile app. Additionally, this offer doesn't need to be completed in one transaction.
While this offer is for a smaller amount of cash back than the traditional rental car agencies, you also don't need to spend nearly as much to earn the cash back. This one expires April 14 – and critically, you'll have to actually rent and return your car before the deadline in order to trigger this offer.

Where to Find Amex Offers
If you haven’t used Amex Offers before, simply log into your American Express account and scroll down near the bottom of the screen and there should be a box called Amex Offers & Benefits. You can do this when logged into your Amex account on either the desktop version of the site or the mobile app.
If you're using the desktop version of the American Express website, you'll find Amex Offers about halfway down the homepage. Here, you can view all the Amex Offers that are currently available, see which ones you've already added to your card, and even review your lifetime savings with the Amex Offers program.
If you're logged in to your account on a mobile device using the Amex app, you'll find a tab at the bottom with all your available Amex Offers.
Just remember that if you have multiple Amex cards, you'll need to toggle through them all, as the offers will be different for each card. If you see an offer you like, simply add the offer to the card and make a qualifying purchase at that business with your card.
You could receive a statement credit within a few days of making a purchase, but often you'll have to wait a full credit card cycle or two for it to post. This goes for earning bonus Amex points as well.
Thrifty Tip:Â Amex displays a maximum of 100 offers at a time. If you're not seeing the one you want, try adding a handful to your card, logging out, and then logging back in to see if you get some new ones!
