Capital One is launching its first-ever sale for cardholders booking travel through its travel portal – and it could be an easy way to save on your next getaway.
Starting Tuesday, Oct. 10, Capital One cardholders can save up to $200 on flights to (and hotels in) more than 40 destinations booked through Capital One Travel. The sale runs through Oct. 17.
Thrifty Tip:Â Got a *venture x* or a *venture x business*? Stack your annual $300 travel credit with this sale, saving up to $500 on travel!
Scrolling through the list, you'll see discounts flying to destinations all over the world, from $50 off flights to U.S. hotspots like Miami (MIA) and Nashville (BNA) to $200 off flights to far-flung locales like Bangkok, Thailand (BKK) and Seoul, South Korea (ICN).
The discount applies to any flights and hotels you find in the Capital One Travel portal for those destinations, regardless of the dates and airline – with a few exceptions. You'll also earn 5x the Capital One Venture Miles on flights and 10x the miles on hotels you book during the sale.
Plus, you can still use your Capital One Venture Miles to remove travel purchases from your statement after taking advantage of the sale. That means you can book these flights or hotels for even fewer miles during the sale.

Say you're eyeing a $500 roundtrip flight to Reykjavik (KEF) next summer. With this sale, you could book that same flight for $350 – and you'd earn $1,750 Venture Miles for booking, too. Then, you could use miles to remove the flight from your credit card statement altogether, using just 35,000 Venture Miles to do so.
Or … if you haven't used your $300 travel credit benefit yet, that flight would only cost you $50.
Bottom Line
Capital One is launching an exclusive sale for cardholders that will help you save on your next trip booked through the Capital One Travel portal.
Whether you've got Capital One miles to burn, your Venture X $300 travel credit to use up, or are paying in cash, you could get a solid discount on flights and hotels to destinations around the world.
