Travelers with the *venture x* can get an easy $200 discount on a Premier Collection hotel stay this year or next – but you'll want to book something fast.
Late Wednesday, Capital One added a new “travel offer” to save $200 on any Premier Collection reservation, making their collection of luxury and boutique hotels with elite status-like perks even better. Just book an eligible hotel through the Capital One travel portal and that $200 credit will kick in automatically. You can even stack it with the Venture X $300 annual travel credit to save even more. Frequent Miler first flagged this amazing promo.
This offer is only available to travelers with a Venture X Card or small business owners with the *venture x business*. Capital One says it expires Dec. 31, but don't wait: This deal is only available as long as supplies last. On the plus side, you can save on a stay far out in 2024 so long as you book before the deadline.
It might take some trial and error to find a property that fits your travel plans – the Premier Collection portfolio of hotels isn't that big (yet). But keep reading to see how you can book and maximize this outstanding deal.

The Premier Collection is Capital One's relatively new portfolio of top-rated hotels with tons of additional perks that match (or exceed) the top levels of hotel status. This $200 offer could make your stay much cheaper.
Even with $200 off, you also get:

- Earn 10x Venture Miles per dollar on every booking

How to Use This $200 Offer
Just log into your account and head for the Capital One Travel portal, where you'll now see the option to search for Premier Collection properties in addition to flights, hotels, and rental cars. Sorry, travelers with the standard *capital one venture card* – only those with the souped-up Venture X cards get access to these hotels … and this $200 credit.
Start typing in your location and preferred dates to search for availability – and keep in mind that many cities don't have Premier Collection hotels yet. The key is to find Premier Collection properties with the tag “$200 off with travel offer.” Only these hotels, in a darker shade, will be eligible for the discount. The new Lifestyle Collection hotels are not eligible.
Then just click “View Hotel Details” to view your options and proceed to book. You should see that the $200 discount offer is applied at checkout for this Premier Collection hotel. If you've still got a $300 travel credit on your Venture X, you should also be to apply that to score an even bigger discount.
Check out this cheap night at the Pendry Chicago came out to be! Even after taxes, a night in this $180 room came out to just $14.80. What a steal!
We've seen other domestic deals like in Oregon at the Kimpton Riverplace Hotel for $249 a night on Feb 16. While it may not cover the full price, this $200 discount could also make hotel stays in major (and majorly expensive) cities like Los Angeles and New York City more palatable.
If you've got international travel plans, there could be major value here. For example, you can book The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon in Thailand for $226 on Feb. 16 – just $26 after this credit.
Just a few things to note:
- There is no minimum stay requirement
- This offer is only available once per cardholder
- You can use your $300 annual travel credit balance to pay the remaining amount after the $200 offer
The Capital One Venture X may have an annual fee of $395 a year, but all the benefits make it easier than any other card to come out ahead. This $200 hotel offer makes it a cinch.
